It was beautiful on sunday morning and I did like to ski as I did last week, but I decided to stay at home to maintain the place where I live. I named myself "housewife for myself" then in my mind for the day =; )
I made an original brunch, again. Here it is, Japanese rice paste "Mochi", eggplants and bacon with tomato sauce. Usually, I have this sauce with pasta but I found "Mochi" being about to expire in a few days in the fridge, so I had to use it in a hurry. Fortunately, "c'est bon!" will you try it?
I worked so hard, such as folding dried clothes, put them into each suitable drawers, tidying up scattered things on the floor and classifying the returned postcard with the attendane answers for our alumni party in April.
At noon, I had a short break with white coffee.Sunlight was already orangish, surprisingly, such early time. The cinamon sugar put on the coffee flavored richly and made me relaxed. I read the card from the ex-host family in Dublin as sipping the coffee. In fact, her hand writing is hard to understand and I had to take my time to read, pitily, I stll don't understand all. what is just to understand is she is in the hospital bedause of a very serious illness and she hopes to get much better and she concerns my stay in Ireland because I wrote her that I would visit this year on the X'mas card. When I read this card, tears came from my eyes with worriness and gratitude for her.
After tears dried, I looked after my plants and flowers in the room. They were very tired as I had done for them very seldom. Inspite of that, they are alive and I am amazed at the power of their lives!
On Saturday, I gave my old microwave to a Filipino who was a friend of the student in our laboratory and I bought new one instead of it. It seems capable! I'm looking forward to cooking many kinds of dishes with it !(^^)!
